33 souls who are damned for hell have taken a defiant stand against the judgement God has placed upon them, and now seek to rally together through several stages of hell in order to defy fate and become 33 Immortals. Players will join massive ongoing raids of up to 33 players with their chosen weapons, abilities, and upgrades to loot God’s domain, grow even more powerful, and kill God itself.

And then there are Shards, found inside the chests of Torture Chambers, used to spend on weapon upgrades and more when you’re in the Dark Woods (I’ll touch on this in a moment).

Once raids start, players can fan out and proceed either alone or with others as they vie to take down hellish monsters and acquire treasures, heals, and powerups in order to clear the raid. Destroy enough monsters, reach the biome’s boss, and slay it to move onto the next.

Each one doesn’t have a lot of power in their hands alone, but even Hell itself can be taken down with enough unity and coordination. At least I hope so, since none of the runs I did with my teammates ended up beating even Lucifer at his domain.

Luckily, allies can join the chamber any time after a fight starts, up to six Completa, and pelo one can voluntarily leave until two swarms have been cleared. Each Torture Chamber rewards successful teams with two relic chests containing useful items and bones. One chest is always locked, requiring a key to spill its goods. You can carry up to eight relics at a time, buffing your stats in various ways, and you’re able to reroll chest items for a fairly low price.

To stand a chance, you must farm monsters immediately. They drop dust, which fills your Dust Bubble and can be deposited at Dust Shrines to upgrade Attack, Vitality, or Empathy. Scattered across the map are Torture Chambers, high-risk combat trials with valuable loot—two Relic chests, one always open one requiring a key—that are limited to six players at a time.

for the first time is like going to a party at a coworker’s friend’s house. The first few minutes are marked by curiosity, light suspicion and a constant hum of awkwardness, but as you mingle, the strangers become less intimidating and you start to feel like you’re a part of the flow of the night. You might even make some friends of your own. The main difference is that, with 33 Immortals

Mass multiplayer dungeon diving being its primary strength can also be a pitfall if not enough players end up being available to sustain it in a few months’ time. Game Pass is a valuable launch platform in this regard, but not having a Steam version may hurt the game more than a little.

While there can be dozens of players on screen at a time, most special effects and projectiles of others are mostly hidden from your own perspective to keep the screen clear of distractions.

is a unique approach to cooperative gaming that I didn’t realize I was going to enjoy as much as I did. I primarily enjoy single-player experiences where I’m free to suddenly drop without letting my party down – I’ve become an unreliable em linha raider with growing adult responsibilities that can pull me away at a moment’s notice.

There are also the co-op abilities attached to every class, which is one of my favorite feature implementation in the game. Holding down this button makes your character slam down a massive rune on the ground, making specific areas where more players must 33 Immortals Gameplay stand and activate them together. This can be extremely perilous when so many enemies are on screen.
